Skin Regeneration

Dr Lanzer was one of the first clinics to use this new and exciting technology in Australia in 2006. The goal of this therapy is skin rejuvenation with reduced downtime in the healing phase. The Portrait thermal device offers a new dramatically different, clinically proven technology in regeneration of facial tissue. Depending on the depth of treatment, there is less downtime and in some cases, no downtime. Regeneration of the skin and improvement can occur for one year after treatment. It is an effective skin cleaner and skin tightener.

Method

• Non-contact, millisecond pulses of nitrogen plasma energy.
• The outer skin remains intact as healing occurs from within.

Procedure

Single sessions with the Portrait device take only 10 – 15 minutes for a full face procedure.

Treatment depth and strength can be controlled and varied. Little or no redness has been reported after treatment, so patients can return to their normal activities immediately after treatment. Make-up can also be applied soon after treatment. Patients may have three light treatments with six week intervals or one deeper treatment.

Results

The Portrait device has been clinically proven to show continuing regeneration and skin improvement one year after treatment. Studies have shown a 50% - 70% improvement of wrinkles and skin tightening. Complications like scarring or depigmentation have been very rare.
