How We Store Your Fat & Before & After The Procedure
When your fat is stored in our fat bank, we are able to reinject it in to you when you would like and when Dr Lanzer thinks is best. To reinject your fat is a simple procedure. Dr Lanzer will review your progress and discuss with you what you want to achieve. From that he can gauge how much fat he will require to be defrosted for reinjection.
Once this is established, one of his experienced nurses will locate your fat using an online barcode based system which identifies how much fat you have stored with us and where it is located in our bank. Once the fat is removed from the bank, it is placed in a water bath to defrost carefully at a specific rate to ensure cell death is minimised. The fat is then cleaned using a couple of products to ensure it is ready to be injected in to you. Generally, Dr Lanzer will like to use the Cell Brush system to reinject the fat, due to its ability to precisely distribute the fat. This is done by putting a small amount of local anaesthetic in to the area and injecting the fat in through the small cannula.
You may have a small amount of bruising and swelling post procedure; however this is generally fairly minimal and does not take long to heal. The beauty about fat injections is that results are immediate. You will be able to see an
instant improvement in volume and lift. The fat is very smooth and natural looking. Dr Lanzer has many years’ experience in knowing exactly the right amount of fat to inject to get the most aesthetic overall look.
