Neck Before and After Liposuction Photos – Details Before the procedure:
You will have an initial free, no obligation consultation with Dr Lanzer, one of his nurses and his personal consultant. During this consultation we will assess the areas of concern and decide whether you are wishing to have neck liposuction alone, or in combination with other procedures. From this we will be able to ascertain whether a local or general anaesthetic procedure is more suitable. Upon booking you will be given an information pack with a checklist to follow leading up to your procedure date. If you follow this check-list step by step it will ensure you are fully prepared for your procedure.
You are required to have a blood test prior to the procedure to check you general health and well-being. This blood test can be conducted at any pathology centre and the results are then faxed to us here. You will also be given a couple of scripts for antibiotics, an antibacterial wash and some analgesia for post procedure. The antibacterial wash is to be used before the procedure and the antibiotics started the day before the procedure. These are used to reduce the risk of infection post procedure. The analgesia can be used after the procedure as required. You will also be required to speak to a psychologist prior to your procedure. Generally this is a fairly quick phone conversation to establish that you understand the procedure you have selected to have and that you are doing it for the right reasons.
A referral letter is then sent to Dr Lanzer and recorded in your file. We require payment to be made prior to having the procedure. We do not encourage patients to take out loans in order to have the procedure. Part of this reason is so that we know you are fully prepared to have the surgery, physically, mentally and financially. We do not want you to be concerned with owing money towards your procedure once it is completed, instead, we rather you enjoy your results guilt free and stress free.
Certain fat deposits can have a profound influence on the face and make the face appear older. Even though fat transfers are sometimes used to make a patient appear younger, these fats are injected in strategic locations that have a positive influence on the appearance of the patient. One of the locations that could have a negative impact on the appearance of the patient is the neck, because the neck is a place where it is difficult to lose fat through diet and exercise. There are not many exercises that will target the neck, so patients often have to look for different solutions to say goodbye to such fat deposits.
As indicated in the case study above, a neck liposuction can be obtained to achieve a more defined neckline. Targeted liposuction on certain areas of the face and neck can even have a rejuvenating effect on the face of the patient, as was also seen in the example above. If you struggle with excess fat on the neck area and believe that you could benefit from a similar procedure as the patient in this case study, please make an appointment with the Dr Lanzer Clinic for a consultation with Dr Daniel Lanzer to discover if you are eligible.
