Find A New Anti-Ageing Solution In Neck Liposuction!
As we age, certain areas of our body will both lose and gain fat. For example, a common place to lose fat is the hands, making them less elastic and seemingly older. However, the neck area can also become out of proportion. With ageing, the neck may seem less defined, making you seem older and bigger than you really are. If your neck is becoming a problem, you may find a good solution in neck liposuction.
Why Is This Neck Liposuction Before And After Case Study Important?
This neck liposuction before and after case study provides an outstanding example of this procedure and what it can do. The patient in this neck liposuction before and after case study was suffering from a heavy neck area with a small amount of excess fat, this led to an undefined jawline. We do need to mention that this type of problem does not happen to everyone and that it could be genetically inherited.
To solve the problem shown in this neck liposuction before and after case study, the patient and Dr Lanzer chose liposuction of the neck. The procedure from this neck liposuction before and after study was executed under local anaesthetic and resulted in a beautiful contracted neckline that had a much slender and youthful appearance. Because of the achieved results, the neck liposuction before and after case study is a prime example of how lipo could solve problems such as this one.
How Does Neck Liposuction Work?
A neck liposuction is usually implemented when only a small amount of fat needs to be removed and when the patient in question has a good skin elasticity. When the skin is still elastic enough, there is less chance of sagging skin after the procedure. If sagging skin is more of a problem for you at the moment, the surgeon may opt for a neck lift instead.
The neck liposuction procedure can usually be performed under local anaesthesia. The surgeon usually makes one to a maximum of two incisions. These incisions will not be visible after the surgery, because they are usually hidden underneath the chin or the ears. Once the surgeon has made the incision, he will insert a small cannula and remove the fat through gentle suction.
What Can I Expect On The Surgery Day?
When you enter our clinic, you will be received and welcomed by our receptionists. Our staff will ensure that all the necessary paperwork is in order and then admit you to the clinic. As soon as everything is in order, you will be prepped for the procedure.
Before the procedure, Dr Lanzer will see you. If you have any questions or concerns, you can still convey them to Dr Lanzer before you head in. One of the nurses will also give you some pre-medication, so you will feel a little more relaxed and comfortable for the treatment. Once you had your medication, the nurse will administer some betadine solution on your neck and inject some anaesthetic in the area where the incision will be made.
Dr Lanzer will use a small cannula to fill the neck with the tumescent fluid, afterwards the neck will start feeling numb. This happens very quickly, and you will only experience a slight bit of discomfort for a few seconds. Before Dr Lanzer can remove the fat, the tumescent fluid will need to sit in the area for about an hour. Once this has been completed, Dr Lanzer will remove the excess fat.
As soon as the procedure has been completed, Dr Lanzer will apply some absorbent dressing and a chin strap. The dressing can be removed the following day, but the strap will have to be worn for a period up to 4 days.
What Happens After The Neck Lipo Treatment?
After the procedure, the patient will have to wear a supportive strap for a while. Most patients only have to wear this strap for three to four days, unless stated otherwise by Dr Lanzer or the medical team. Given the fact this is a minor procedure, most patients can get back to their regular activities right away. There might be some slight bruising or swelling, but this usually disappears within the first fourteen days after the procedure.
How Can Neck Lipo Benefit The Patient?
Patients who take advantage of neck liposuction will be able to reduce the visibility of a double chin or fullness underneath the chin. In addition to that, it also refines the jawline and brings your facial features back into proportion, giving you a more youthful appearance. The overall treatment can also tighten the skin, as the skin tends to snap back beautifully after the surgery.
Neck liposuction may also be combined with a number of other treatments, for example chin augmentation. If you are struggling with a number of problems around the chin, be sure to talk about them with your cosmetic surgeon before you have treatment. Dr Lanzer can advise you on most effective treatment for your particular problem.
While most neck procedures are minimally invasive; this is still a surgical procedure that should be considered carefully by the patient. Therefore, we always advise patients to read all the information about their cosmetic surgery, which is provided by our clinic before the treatment takes place.
Why Is Dr Lanzer The Recommended Surgeon For Neck Lipo?

Patients can also count on a modern clinic, because our clinic is one of the most advanced in the country. Our clinic also provides additional services to patients; this includes the storage of fat obtained through liposuction in our own fat bank.
Do You Have More Examples Of Neck Liposuction?
Everyone who is interested in neck liposuction will find additional case files on the Dr Lanzer website. If you do not really know if you are eligible, you can always book an appointment with Dr Lanzer to go over your options.
Is Excess Fat In The Neck Caused By Weight Gain?
While a double chin could be caused by weight gain, the cases you see in our case study are often a case of genetic predisposition. Some people are more prone to developing excess fat in the neck, despite being on their ideal weight.
Will I Have Any Loose Skin After The Procedure?
The skin snaps back quite well in the majority of cases, so patients will not be left by loose skin. However, if there is loose skin present before the treatment, a neck lift can be suggested. During this procedure, the cosmetic surgeon can remove the excess skin as well as tighten the relevant muscles. The prime goal of neck liposuction is to remove fat, so it can be combined with other treatments if loose skin is a problem.
