Vaser liposuction is executed with some traditional liposuction techniques, using the tumescent liposuction and small cannula method. Therefore, the recovery, risks, and general effects are quite similar during and after fat removal. However, the principal difference is the use of Vaser third-generation ultrasound, which maximises skin retraction following the removal of excess fat. Therefore, Vaser can also be described as a body contouring or body sculpting treatment that can be effective for loose skin.
Our surgeons have a lot of experience with Vaser hi-definition liposuction. Our team have refined their technique and delivered some amazing results at our clinic.
High-definition Vaser Liposuction is a form of liposuction that works by selectively removing small deposits of fat surrounding specific muscle groups; this enhances the visibility of the natural muscle contour. The technique focuses on precision and removing superficial and deep fat around the muscle groups to enhance the underlying musculature. While this surgical procedure is not a weight loss solution, it can tackle persistent fats and provide a more athletic appearance that would otherwise be hidden by small persistent fat deposits.
VASER® Hi-Def lipo cosmetic procedure is the realisation of anatomy and art, utilising these
techniques, and technology. Our surgeons recognise how the anatomy of skin, fat and muscle
contributes to the sculptured appearance of the human form. This technique that he has developed
shows ways of accentuating each of these structures, contribution to the sculpted body, not by a
new exercise program, but in this technique of VASER® Hi-Def Liposculpture.
Since Vaser liposuction is an invasive procedure, sedation will be used to ensure the patient remains comfortable during the procedure. The procedure can be done under general anaesthesia as well as a local anaesthetic. The surgeon then makes small incisions to gain access to the treatment area with the ultrasound probe. Ultrasound energy is implemented to break down the fatty layer before it is removed through a cannula.
Vaser stands for Vibration Amplification of Sound Energy of Resonance; this refers to the device used during the procedure to liquefy fat cells before they are removed. The surgeon also uses tumescent fluid, which sedates the area and breaks fat down further. Once the fat is broken down, the surgeon can remove it through suction.
A Vaser procedure usually does not take that long. Its overall duration does depend on the location of the treatment area. The duration can also increase if the cosmetic surgery needs to treat more than one area with this technique.
The results obtained from a Vaser liposuction are long lasting, but the patient must have a good diet and exercise routine in place. If the patient cannot maintain a healthy weight after their treatment, removed fat could always return. Therefore, patients need to keep a close eye on their weight after their procedure and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
To ensure you are making good progress, you will be required to attend a follow-up appointment at our clinic during the healing process. At this time, you can ask any additional questions you may have about aftercare and maintenance.
An increasingly large number of patients now opt for Vaser sculpting procedures. This procedure is ideal for those that don’t want a large quantity of fat to be removed, rather small areas for toning or contouring. Summarised benefits:
• Numbs the treatment area, so the procedure does not always require general anaesthetic;
• Patients may experience less discomfort after treatment;
• Bleeding is reduced through the use of tumescent fluid;
• Fat is prepared before it is removed, allowing the surgeon to remove larger quantities;
• Smaller incisions used for fat removal.
• May enhance skin contraction and is particularly useful in treating cellulite.

Request consultationDuring Vaser lipo, the surgeon will target small fat deposits or fatty tissue in certain areas. As a direct result, the natural muscle contour will be a lot more visible, giving you a more toned appearance. The fat deposits targeted are situated in surrounding tissues around the muscle groups, making it the perfect procedure to make your muscles look more defined.
Another advantage of Vaser is the fact that a greater amount of fat can be removed more easily, this since Vaser softens the fat so it comes out smooth and even. The fluid used during the procedure is also anti-bacterial, so there is less chance of infections.
Vaser lipo uses deep, superficial and transitioning liposculpture techniques in specific anatomical areas to create a more natural, muscular appearance of the human form.
There are different types of Vaser procedures, including liposuction, liposculpture, high-def liposuction, six-pack liposculpture and Hi-Def Vaser liposuction. To inform you of what these procedures do, we have placed many photographs at the bottom of this page. Simply view to the left to see specific Vaser high-definition liposuction Melbourne and Sydney procedures.
Vaser can be executed with different techniques too. For example, some surgeons use ultrasound technology to break up the fat before removal, while others prefer the tumescent solution. A combination of those techniques can also occur.
In addition to Vaser treatments, you will also find other cosmetic treatments on our website. We recommend booking a consultation with our clinic, that way we can assure the right treatment for your cosmetic problem.
Every procedure is always connected to risks; however, these risks are kept to an absolute minimum at the clinic. With Vaser, there is not a lot of chance of complications, simply because antiseptic tumescent fluid is used during the procedure.
Most patients will encounter some minor bruising and swelling after the procedure, although our surgeons try to keep this to an absolute minimum. Most patients are given medication to keep discomfort at a minimum and must wear a compression garment for a short period of time, giving the wound some time to heal and the body to recover.
Note: ALL SURGERY HAS RISKS. RESULTS VARY BETWEEN PEOPLE. EARLY INTERVENTION OF ANY ISSUES AFTER SURGERY ARE IMPORTANT.
Our website provides before and after photographs of Vaser liposuction. All photographs are obtained from patients who had Vaser.
Please note that everyone’s experience is different, so results are different for everyone. While the changes in the photographs are provided by Vaser liposuction, additional factors such as a change in lighting, clothing, contrast, and more must be considered too.
Information regarding the Vaser liposuction procedure will be provided by our clinic during a consultation with your surgeon, but some information is also available on the website, so patients can read through the information before their initial appointment at our clinic.

Vaser is an ultrasound device that can be used in conjunction with tumescent liposuction, particularly for high-definition six-pack surgery. The fat is initially treated with the anaesthetic tumescent fluid then the laser is used for approximately 30 minutes and finally the liposculpture is performed.
Most patients who obtain Vaser liposuction are on their target weight, and only require the procedure to obtain a more athletic appearance; this means they do not necessarily require the removal of a large amount of fat. Therefore, the litres of fat removed during Vaser is quite minimal compared to more extensive liposuction procedures. For most liposuction procedures, cosmetic surgery can safely remove five litres of fat.

The goal may be slightly different with different patients, but the concept of re-shaping body shapes is the same.
Usually stings when the local Anesthetic is put in. Often there is no pain during the suction however some people do feel pain during the suction especially if many areas are treated.
Vaser liposuction has the expected risks of any liposuction, including bruising, swelling, loose skin, and infection. There may be more swelling with vaser and other alternatives such as vibrating air canula may be chosen by your surgeon.
During Vaser, your surgeon will seal blood vessels. By doing so, there is a reduced chance of bleeding. Even though patients will experience some bruising after the procedure, sealing the blood vessels may reduce bruising to some degree.
Patients that undergo a procedure under general anaesthetic usually feel extremely fatigued for another 24 hours. If you have a local anaesthetic used with Vaser, you will experience less fatigue. However, we still recommend not driving yourself home after the surgery. It is always safer to have someone drive you home instead.
You will need some downtime after the procedure; this at least for a period of twelve hours. With your recovery time, you must also incorporate further measures. For two to three weeks after the procedure, you must also avoid heavy exercise or strenuous activities.
We provide a free cosmetic consultation. Here you will be able to discuss everything you want to know about High Def liposuction procedure, and you can ask any questions. In addition to that, our surgeons can also provide you with more information about the cost of such a procedure.
The surgical cost starts at $3500 but can increase up to $10,000 for full body liposuction depending on the procedure there may be other costs such as theatre and anaesthetic fees.
Lipomas are localised benign tumours of fat. Liposuction is a very effective method to remove them without requiring wide cuts that cause significant scarring.
