Liposuction For Women Before And After Case Study
One popular reason for our patients to come in for a liposuction procedure is so that they can look and feel more comfortable in their clothes; this is reflected in our liposuction for women before and after case studies.
The liposuction for women before and after case studies available on our website is meant to inform patients, so they should not be seen as definite results that could be obtained by you if you have the procedure. To get the most accurate view of what you could expect from this liposuction treatment, it is always advised to speak to Dr Lanzer in person.

Where Is Liposuction Performed?
A common area to perform tumescent liposuction on is the waist and stomach, where we commonly refer to problem areas such as “love handles”. This is an area that people can find is genetically inherited and often quite difficult to shift. Often diet and exercises will help; however, optimum long-term results may only be gained through performing liposuction surgery from a cosmetic surgeon or plastic surgeon.
Patients can experience some side-effects after their procedure; this may involve some bruising and some swelling. Fortunately, these side-effects will disappear during the healing process.
Can I Get Liposuction To Lose Weight?
Liposuction is not designed for weight loss specifically. It is designed to sculpt and create a smoother shape through fat removal, rather than reduce the weight on the scales. You will see from our liposuction for women before and after case studies that when the fat is removed from the patient, it floats to the surface and any tumescent fluid removed will sit at the bottom, therefore indicating that the fat is lighter. It may be a reason why not all patients notice a difference in weight on the scales.
The best results are achieved when the liposuction procedure is combined with regular physical activity and a healthy diet. We have an experienced, qualified dietitian at the clinic whose role is to help support our patients to achieve their best results. He is available to patients at no additional charge and will help you to develop a healthy lifestyle plan and support you along the way. Our dietitian will also measure you and organise the appropriate garment suitable for the particular areas where you are having the liposuction performed. These garments are to be worn for 2 weeks full time (of course can take off for showering) and then a further 2 weeks part-time, so either just during the day or only at night.
Does The Dr Lanzer Clinic Meet All The Industry Standards For Tumescent Liposuction?
We have a number of internal audits, which are done by our staff throughout the year to ensure we are complying with the requirements of standard 3. These audits look at areas including; hand washing, waste management, disposal of infectious waste, cleaning, sterilisation and linen handling, along with many more. These audits are reviewed by our Quality Manager and are addressed at staff and management meetings to ensure staff from all levels are aware of any issues or requirements for improvement. If it is found that any audit is non-compliant, implementations will be made as appropriate and the same audit repeated at a later date.
Infection control is a very important aspect of our role as healthcare professionals here at Dr Lanzer’s Clinic, and we are dedicated in ensuring our practice is up to date with the latest requirements.
Is Breast Augmentation Possible Through Liposuction And Fat Transfer?
Fat cells can be harvested through a surgical procedure such as liposuction, and then reintroduced in the breasts to increase their size or alter their shape. Naturally, a similar technique can be used for breast reduction. First, the surgeon will remove fat or certain areas of fat to reduce the size of the breast. Excess skin is usually no problem during minor breast reduction procedures.
Why Does The Dr Lanzer Clinic Provide Pre- And Post-Operative Photographs?
Patients have often heard of liposuction procedures, but they were never able to see how the body changes after a certain amount of fat has been removed; therefore, we provide prospective patients with access to our before and after pictures, which feature patients who had a liposuction procedure at the Dr Lanzer Clinic. Even though the results of your liposuction procedure will never be the same as those in the photographs featured on the website, since each patient is unique, it does give patients a realistic view of the possibilities of liposuction.
CASE STUDY: LIPOSUCTION BEFORE & AFTER PHOTOS
Dr Daniel Lanzer is a well-known cosmetic surgeon who is often on national television explaining the latest breakthroughs in cosmetic surgery and cosmetic treatment. Dr Lanzer was featured on the Today Tonight program explaining the new Hi-Definition liposculpture method that can produce a 6 pack.
To ensure patients are fully informed about the latest treatments, Dr Lanzer makes numerous case studies available on his clinic’s website; this is also the case for liposuction. If you wish to learn more, please check out our case studies and read the information provided by the Dr Lanzer Clinic below.
What Are Some of the Latest Liposuction Concepts in Australia?
An entirely new concept has come to Australia, involving of sculpting around the stomach muscles to produce the “six-pack look” in men and the athletic grooves in women. The procedure has become extremely popular both in people who work out in the gym and those who never do.
Has Liposuction Evolved Much Over the Years?
Liposuction has become one of the most popular cosmetic procedures in the world. It is therefore no surprise that the procedure has evolved over the course of time. New techniques have been introduced over the years, which had a serious impact on how liposuction is executed in current cosmetic surgery clinics.
Dr Daniel Lanzer said the most significant breakthrough was probably the introduction of the wet tumescent method by a dermatologist about 20 years ago. Dr Lanzer helped convene a conference to teach that method in 1992 and it can be used to remove fat with either the patient being awake or asleep.
The wet tumescent method uses fluid, placed in the fat, which helps soften the fat and essentially stops bleeding. The body can be sculptured, which means the technique is ideal for small bulges often seen on the hips and outer thighs of women, as well as the stomachs and flanks of men.
Dr Lanzer said the next advance was the recognition that many different areas are responsive to liposuction. What started for “saddlebag” removal could be used in any fatty area.
As the procedure became more common, dermatologists developed the concept of body liposculpture – or reshaping many areas in one sitting. This would often include the back, hips, thighs, buttocks, stomach, knees, arms and ankles. Ideally, this is done with the patient under a light general anaesthesia.
Can overweight patients obtain liposuction?
Many overweight people are looking for a kick start as they battle weight reduction. Dr Lanzer said a rapid loss of 5-10 litres in one or two procedures could dramatically change in the body shape with some patients even enjoying looking at the fat removed. Most patients can return to work a couple of weeks after the procedure.
Please note that liposuction in overweight people is not a weight loss solution! As stated earlier, it gives patients a kick-start for their new healthy lifestyle. Therefore, it is down to the patient to maintain their new lifestyle after having a liposuction procedure.
When Is a Breast Reduction Through Liposuction Used?
Dr Lanzer helped pioneer the breast reduction through liposuction method about 10 years ago. Women often complain of neck and back pain from the weight of large breasts. Dr Lanzer said after using keyhole type surgery the breasts become lighter and smaller and also contract and elevate. It is a procedure for all ages.
Why Are More Men Having Liposuction These Days?
Men finally joined the liposuction interest when they realised they could lose their “man boobs”. Men also want the so-called “love handles” removed and stomachs.
What Is Vaser?
The new Vaser, a third-generation ultrasound device, helps skin contraction and tightening. It is also ideal for patients having a second procedure.
Are the Case Studies Above a Genuine Representation of Liposuction?
By looking at our before and after photographs, taken of patients who had their liposuction procedure at the Dr Lanzer Clinic, you can get a better idea about the type of aesthetic problem a liposuction procedure is used for. As indicated in the photographs, a liposuction procedure is not meant as a weight loss solution, but as a treatment to reshape the body and give the patient a more aesthetically pleasing shape.
To maintain the results obtained from a liposuction procedure, the patient must be willing to maintain a healthy lifestyle as well. This means that the patient must enjoy a healthy diet and plenty of exercise. The patient must also keep his or her weight stable after liposuction surgery because weight fluctuations could cause persistent fats to return to the body of the patient. If you have any questions about preventing the return of persistent fats after your procedure, please contact the Dr Lanzer Clinic for advice. You can also turn to your local doctor for advice on a healthy lifestyle before and after your procedure because someone monitoring your progress makes it less likely for you to return to old habits.
If you want to know if you are eligible for procedures such as a tummy tuck, ultrasound-assisted liposuction, or other procedures that involve the manipulation of fat deposits, you can take advantage of a free consultation offered by our clinic.
