Liposculpture Before And After Case Study
Many women have liposculpture of multiple areas, which was the case for the patient in the above case study. If you want to learn more about this liposculpture before and after study, the problem the patient was facing, and how it was corrected with cosmetic surgery, please check out our liposculpture before and after case study in a little more detail below.
What Were The Causes Of The Fat Build-Up For The Patient In This Liposculpture Before And After Case Study?
Build-up of persistent fat can have a genetic component, since many of the patients who visit our surgery find that they have a pre-disposition for the accumulation of fat in certain areas on the body.
A genetic component could cause a build-up of persistent fats in various areas of the body; this includes the thighs and the hips. However, other areas can suffer from such an accumulation too; for example, the neck, arms, and more. In this liposculpture before and after case study, you can see some of the effects genetic disposition can have on the body.
How Does Dr Lanzer Determine How The Fat Will Be Removed?
Dr Lanzer will apply some blue lines on the patient’s body before the procedure. These lines are the markings that Dr Lanzer uses for fat removal during the surgery.
To ensure the markings do not disappear during the surgery, Dr Lanzer uses a special skin marker; this marker is not as easy to remove as normal markers. However, once the surgery is completed, the lines can be removed with something as simple as eucalyptus oil.
When you take a closer look at the various marks used on the body of the patient in this study, you will notice that Dr Lanzer uses different markings to determine the amount of fat that must be removed. Dr Lanzer uses the cross marks to mark fat bulges, which will require the most sculpting during the procedure. He also uses small dashes, used to indicate depressions.
Fat can accumulate irregularly on the body of a patient and there is no true cause for this. However, fat irregularities can be addressed during the procedure; this is the purpose of the markings on the patient’s body.
Can The Results Obtained From Liposculpture Be Maintained?
Patients can obtain the results by enjoying a healthy diet and exercise. Diet and exercises will certainly contribute to maintaining a healthy weight but will also contribute to better health overall.
Please note that a liposculpture procedure is not a weight loss solution, but it can pave the way to a healthier lifestyle. Naturally, the amount of fat removed during the procedure can influence the results you encounter post-treatment. That being said, patients do not always need fat removal in large quantities to enjoy the results they want.
Is Fat Manipulation Only Used In A Procedure Such As Liposculpture?
The manipulation of fat cells is used in many procedures. In addition to liposculpture, it can be used for breast augmentation, as a fat transfer can be used to increase the size of the breasts. Fat harvested from liposuction can also be reintroduced in the body as an anti-ageing treatment.
Is Liposculpture Only Done On The Hips And Abdomen?
No, liposculpture can be done on various parts of the body. Naturally, not all parts of the body require the removal of a large amount of fat. Some locations can be minor where fat removal is concerned. However, the patient must be evaluated by a cosmetic surgeon before such a treatment can be executed.
What Is Liposculpture And Where Is This Procedure Performed?
Liposculpture is the most common surgical procedure that is performed in the world. The tumescent liposuction method, which Dr Lanzer helped bring to Australia, has an excellent safety record. Dr Lanzer’s own personal experience with some 150000 patients confirms this.
All surgery performed in our clinic has received the most recent national safety and quality audits. All patients having surgery have photographs taken, which allow them and the doctor to look back and review the results. Photographs are only used on the internet if patients have given their permission.
Many techniques can be implemented for liposculpture and liposuction. One of the techniques that is used most often is the tumescent technique, which involves injecting a tumescent solution in addition to the suctioning of fat.
Patients like to look at photographs to predict how they might look after having a similar procedure. However, patients must consider that each body is unique, so your body structure will deliver results that look different than those in our before and after case studies.
Dr Lanzer will often draw on patients’ photographs during a consultation, so the patient has a better idea of what their results may look like. It also provides patients with the opportunity to ask questions about their expected results before the procedure takes place.
Before patients can have a treatment, including liposuction, the patient is required to sign a consent form. It is vital that patients read this consent form thoroughly before their treatment, since it contains valuable information regarding risks and complications associated with their intended procedure.
Please remember that patients can experience some side-effects after their treatment, which will be explained in more detail before you have your treatment. However, side-effects are usually minor and dissipate during the healing process.
