BEFORE AND AFTER LIPOSUCTION ON THE BOTTOM, HIP & THIGHS
Hips, bottoms and thighs are very popular areas for Liposuction to be performed. It is also quite popular for patients to have a Fat Transfer to their bottoms to create the ideal butt shape. When we think of celebrity inspirations, we may think of J-Lo, Beyonce and Kim Kardashian. They have a full, rounded bottom with curves in all the right places.
Dr Lanzer has the skills to sculpt the body to create curves most flattering to your figure, and can build up volume in the bottom using your own fat, to create a Brazilian beach worthy booty. Dr Lanzer was the first to invest in what is referred to as a “Fat Bank” whereby patients are able to store their fat for future injections. This fat can be put in to the bottom, or alternatively in to the cheeks, lips, eye brows and hands. This fat can also be used to build volume in areas that curve or dint inwards or into scars to reduce their appearance. An alternative to having fat injected in to the bottom is to have implants inserted. This is not a procedure that Dr Lanzer currently offers and has with it varies possible complications and risks.
The beauty of having Liposuction to an area and using the fat to fill out other areas is that it is your own fat. It is a natural alternative to synthetic fillers or implants. We are able to store as little or as much of your fat as you chose or as to what Dr Lanzer feels will benefit you. You fat will be stored in either vials which hold 4.5mls of fat or in bags which hold 70-150ml of fat. We are able to keep your fat indefinitely or until you decide you don’t want to keep it anymore, no obligations.
Some stubborn fats can be caused by genetics; this was certainly the case for the woman in the case study above. Despite trying to remove these persistent fats through diet and exercise, the patient still presented excess fat in the outer thigh area. Naturally, the presence of these fats affected the overall figure of the patient. Through liposuction, the patient experienced a noticeable improvement in circumference around the lower hips. The problem the patient faced is also a prime example of a good candidate for liposuction, since the treatment is specifically directed at the removal of persistent fat deposits that do not disappear through diet and exercise.
Even though the patient has obtained a good result from the procedure, the patient in question must maintain a healthy lifestyle after their liposuction procedure to ensure the fat does not return to the body. The patient cannot do any rigorous exercise until the treatment area has healed properly, but once the patient can exercise, it is essential to exercise regularly to keep persistent fats at bay. Patients must also enjoy a healthy diet, since consuming fatty foods and too many calories can also cause the fat to return after the surgery. Therefore, liposuction could be considered as the beginning of a new lifestyle.
